The Felix 100 / Logansport High School 155-Year Alumni Gala was an incredible night celebrating generations of Berry pride.
Alumni, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and friends of Logansport High School gathered to honor 100 years of Felix the Cat and 155 years of LHS tradition. The evening was filled with stories, laughter, connection, and a shared commitment to the future of Logansport Community Schools.
The celebration began with an alumni jazz ensemble led by Tim Miller (Class of 1976), featuring fellow alumni Bruce Knepper (Class of 1978), LHS band director Ned Boyd, Scott Pazera, and Lynn Colwell. Their music set the tone for a night rooted in tradition and talent.
The event was led by Master of Ceremonies Scott Kraud (Class of 1990), whose energy and enthusiasm guided the evening’s program.
High-energy entertainment followed from Felix & Fingers Dueling Pianos, who brought the room to life with music, humor, and audience interaction. Special guest Don Oriolo returned to Logansport to help mark this historic milestone. Oriolo shared reflections on Felix’s legacy and his family’s connection to the beloved character, told stories, and took the stage to perform — adding a personal highlight to an already unforgettable evening.
The event was beautifully hosted by Vibrant Events Catering & Event Center and their outstanding staff. It was a fantastic venue to celebrate this milestone occasion, and their professionalism and hospitality helped make the evening seamless and memorable.
Because of the generosity shown that evening, the Alumni Association raised strong support for our Teacher Grant program. These grants fund innovative classroom ideas, remove financial barriers, and directly impact students across Logansport Community Schools.
We celebrate the past.
