The Key Club is gearing up for its Annual Good Government Day, and the race for student mayor is officially open! This unique opportunity allows seniors to step into the world of leadership, campaign for votes, and experience the responsibilities of local government firsthand.
How to Apply
Interested candidates must meet the following requirements:
✅ Be a senior
✅ Have a minimum 2.75 GPA
✅ Be in good standing (no truancies or discipline issues)
✅ Be on track for graduation
Applications must include designated appointees and be signed by Principal Jones and Cory Cripe before submission. All completed applications should be turned in to Mrs. Gaumer in G107 by 3:25 PM on Monday, March 10th.
Campaign & Election Details
Campaigning Dates:
Tuesday, March 11th & Wednesday, March 12th
Voting Date:
Thursday, March 13th (votes must be cast by 3:25 PM)
Results Announced:
Friday, March 14th
All campaign materials, including posters, handouts, and badges, must be pre-approved by Mrs. Gaumer and Principal Jones. Any violations of the election rules will result in disqualification.
