Logansport High School is excited to announce the upcoming Disability Awareness Walk, a one-mile fun run/walk to celebrate inclusivity and support LHS Unified Sports Teams. The event will take place on Saturday, April 12, at Logansport Memorial Stadium.
Runners will start at 10:00 a.m., followed by walkers at 10:20 a.m.. Registration is $20 and includes a commemorative event t-shirt. Those unable to attend can still show their support by purchasing a shirt, which also serves as registration. The deadline to register is Monday, March 24.
The event will feature a prize for the first finisher, additional prize drawings throughout the event, and a food cart from First Sip Coffee Company, offering delicious drinks and pastries.
All proceeds from the walk will benefit LHS Unified Sports Teams, which promote inclusive athletic opportunities for students of all abilities.
